The first plan will be called ‘Go 4 Unlimited’ and provide unlimited data at high speeds for Rs 1,999 per month. Customers who want faster speeds can get them with a Rs 2,999 plan that offers 50Mbps speeds. The MTNL 5G service is based on the 3.5-GHz band, which is identical to the one used by Reliance Jio. The service will be available across a few areas in Mumbai for now and will expand to other parts of the country soon.
