Introduction to mmWave CPE

The mmWave CPE is the latest innovation for 5G networks. The physical layer supports frequency range 100GHz ~ 110GHz and data rate of up to 10Gbps. Multi-channel modulations such as OFDM, QPSK, BPSK are supported. This device can be used either as a mmWave access point or as a primary CPE modem in a fixed wireless network. Our mmWave CPE can be integrated with a variety of outdoor antenna solutions to meet your specific application requirements. The mmWave CPE is a high-speed wireless network connect device, providing high throughput and low latency of virtualized applications and cloud. The mmWave CPE is designed to be used with an mmWave antenna. The unit is capable of receiving transmissions from up to 4 base stations simultaneously, allowing operators and providers to deliver high-quality customer experience. The mmWave CPE supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi operation, meeting the latest standard for Wi-Fi that allows service providers to support more customers on crowded networks. The mmWave CPE is a small, low-power, single-band solution that delivers high peak data speeds over a wireless connection. It can operate in outdoor environments using its integrated power amplifiers and antenna. This mmWave customer premises equipment (CPE) supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks. It provides a reliable solution for consumers and businesses to access the internet via mobile towers. This mmWave CPE supports the IEEE 802.11-2012, IEEE 802.11ac and IEEE 802.11ax standards, delivering multiple services such as Wireless AC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth simultaneously. It features passive cooling, support for time synchronization protocol. mmWave CPE provides gigabit internet access over licensed and unlicensed spectrum in the 3.2GHz to 3.8GHz range, which allows for high-speed access and the ability to stream data on multiple devices in a home or office.

Introduction to mmWave bands

The mmWave CPE is an ultra-portable, low cost mmWave radio that provides a bridge between 5G and backhaul. This enables the development of two part system approaches where the base station elements of 5G networks can be placed in places where they would not typically be due to cost constraints. The mmWave CPE also provides licensed spectrum usage for carriers and operators to deploy new services without having to wait on the rollout of infrastructure. The mmWave CPE is a new kind of point of entry (POE) device for mmWave spectrums which is specially designed for outdoor use to deliver gigabit-speed internet. The design and size are optimized for use with the 5G mmWave bands and other high frequency spectrum allocations. It also supports existing 4G, 3G and 2G technologies, providing an ideal solution to serve cellular and fixed wireless broadband users in high-demand environments or remote locations where traditional wired infrastructures are impractical or impossible. The mmWave CPE is a compact, multi-mode LTE and WiFi form factor with integrated 2.4 GHz/5 GHz 802.11ac wireless access capabilities. This CPE enables operators to deliver high performance mobile broadband services to customers in the most cost effective manner, complementing existing network infrastructure. The mmWave CPE is a multi-band, multi-mode base station for 5G mobile systems. It provides dense access points and high data rate backhaul to the macro network, enabling a flexible 5G core network architecture. The mmWave CPE supports all key technologies including OFDM and OFDMA, as well as new air interfaces such as Nb or ASE. The mmWave CPE is designed for the point-to-point communication between the service provider and an antenna site with a single short range microwave link. The product supports the next-generation 5G, LTE and WiMAX mobile broadband access networks. The device incorporates an active electronically tuned antenna array that allows beamforming to enable transmit/receive diversity, optimal interference rejection and maximum signal strength at the receiver.
