In 2022, 5G will be launched in India by Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Jio. The preparation for planning and deploying the 5g network in India is going in full swing. Trails sites have already been set up and performance parameters are being optimized for maximum end-user performance. According to DoT(Department of Telecom, Government of India), the following cities will get 5g services anytime soon as trial sites have already been installed. The cities are Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Pune, Chandigarh, Jamnagar, Ahmadabad, and Gandhi Nagar. Mainly Nokia and Ericsson will be the telecom vendors as Chinese companies like Huawei and ZTE have some issues with the US and Indian governments.
